  瞿林东:现任北京师范大学资深教授,博士生导师,北京师范大学史学理论与史学史研究中心主任,兼任中国史学会理事、中华炎黄文化研究会理事、中国史学会史学理论分会副会长、教育部普通高等学校人文社会科学咨询委员会委员等职。 瞿林东教授长期从事史学理论与史学史方面研究,在中国史学史领域有所建树,所著《唐代史学论稿》、《中国史学史纲》曾先后获得北京市哲学社会科学优秀成果二等奖。  
  内容简介 《中国通史》是一部全面展示中华民族五千年历史进程的大型丛书。它历时多年,汇聚了全国一流的专家学者,运用史诗般的宏大叙事手法,再现了中华文明从原始社会到清朝灭亡的发展历程。
     本书以历史年代为序,全面回顾了自原始社会以来各个不同时期的中国历史画卷,涵盖了中国历史的主要内容,集中讲述了历史的变迁过程,再现了  一件件重要的历史事件、一个个有着深远影响的历史人物等等,较为系统地介绍了中国历史的发展脉络。
